“KIANA” is a serigraph into which glass beads have been added into selected colors creating an unusually beautiful effect. The size of this print is 32″ X 44″ plus full margins (81 cm X 112 cm) and the edition size is 50.
Elba Alvarez was born in Venezuela in 1944 and at age 18 traveled to Paris to study art, returning to New York in 1968. Her work has been shown from New York to galleries throughout the world and her art hangs in the collections of a multitude of the most notable corporations and private collectors. In 1984 and again in 1986 she created the poster for the world’s largest art exposition in New York. In 1986 she also created the benefit poster for the Easter Seal Society.
