This is a rare lithograph with an image size 25″ X 18″ (64 cm X 46 cm) plus full margins. The edition size consists of 225 on Arches paper and 75 on Japon Necré rice paper. This print is generally regarded as one of the finest prints in the lithographic medium by Chemiakin.

This very special lithograph by Chemiakin is the artist paying tribute to his wife Rebecca.  This is a rare work and has a larger image than most of his lithographs.

The full title is “Double Portrait of Rebecca with Mask”.

The image size is 25″ X 18″ plus margins. This piece is in mint condition and has not been framed. The year of publication was 1980. The edition size is 225 on Arches paper and a ‘deluxe’ edition of 75 on Japon Necré rice paper.

Mihail Chemiakin is one of the foremost international artists of our time. A quote from the Robb Report (Jan. 1995) states “so great are his talents that he is one of the few artists working today who sets the standard by which all other contemporary art is measured”.

He has earned 5 honorary doctorates. The Hermitage Museum held an exhibition in Oct. 1995 of such magnitude that a 7 volume catalog was printed for this monumental occasion.
