This original, hand pulled serigraph by Herbert Oehm was published by Galerie Denise René, Paris, France in 1972. This piece is in a flawless state of preservation and has not been framed or mounted.
Galerie Denise René is perhaps best know as the founding gallery of one of the twentieth century’s most notable artists, Victor Vasarely. This gallery also published works by many other leading artists and brought many other artists fame and international recognition. Among the artists published by Galerie Denise René are Agam, Anuszkiewicz, Max Bill, Robert Indiana, Mondrian and Leon Polk Smith, among many others.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Herbert Oehm is a German Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1935. Numerous key galleries and museums such as Ketterer Kunst Online have featured Herbert Oehm’s work in the past.Herbert Oehm’s work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 208 USD to 5,928 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Herbert Oehm studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, Munich, under Ernst Geitlinger (1957–1959) and at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm (HfG) (1959–1960). 1969 moved to Krefeld, 1971 to Düsseldorf, and 1977 to Lanzarote. He lives on Gran Canaria, ES.
