Rolf Rafflewski was born in Germany in 1943 and began painting at the age of 12. His first one-man exhibition was held just 4 years later. He studied at the Beaux Arts in Paris and was lauded as one of its most promising students.
He has painted most of the French landmarks featuring famous buildings, chateaus, aqueducts, city scenes, rivers, beaches and countryside vistas.
We have 60 different lithographic images of Rafflewski’s works. Among them are “The Great Chateaus”.
